I'm Mehul Agarwal, currently building Koyal, a GenAI Audio-to-Video Filmmaking platform backed by Y Combinator. Here's our announcement video!
Before this, I was a Founding Engineer & Product Lead at JazzX, an SAI Group company. I hold a Masters in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University (I also did my Bachelors in Computer Science here). During that time, I co-founded Retcon, a GenAI platform for text-to-3D videogame assets.
My research interests fall under the umbrellas of Multimodal ML, Computer Vision and Generative AI. When I'm not stumped with work, I try my hand at standup comedy! You can check out my standup specials on my YouTube. Fun fact, during the pandemic, I had co-founded the Facebook group Zoom Memes for Self Quaranteens, which now has 950,000+ members.
